Lethenty Mill Furniture offers a comprehensive furniture making course with full instructions, drawings and self-build kits. The furniture making course comprises of individual woodoworking projects, which range from beginners through to intermediate, skilled and advanced. Woodworking learners can therefore pick and mix their furniture-making projects to suit their own abilities and experience.
Those wishing to source their own wood locally can simply download a DIY manual and take the accompanying cutting list to their own supplier.

Our DIY manuals are illustrated in full colour and provide a comprehensive guide to making your chosen piece of wooden furniture. Self assembly wooden kits comprising pre-cut wood for each item of furniture are also available. Our kits are made and supplied in quality red pine or in local Scottish hard woods (oak, ash, beech or elm) on request. For those who live in North-East Scotland, we also offer furniture making evening classes in our purpose-built workshops at Lethenty Mill, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
